**Grace and Sam**

Please excuse my ridiculously long hiatus from posting…..I promise that much more consistent posting is in the works, as I have a huge backlog of amazing weddings to blog!!

I am happy, however, to start up my blog again with one of the most amazing couples I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.    Grace first contacted me, shortly after her friend Amaree’s wedding, whom I had the pleasure of also working with last year!    We had a nice long chat at Starbucks, when they first told me about their FAB ideas of a butterfly themed wedding (and bless Sam’s (the groom) heart, for going along with this!!), and their even more fab idea of lifesize cardboard cutouts of themselves as the props for their photobooth.  Who wouldn’t fall in love with that!?   And I have to pay a tribute to Sam specifically, because he definitely helped Grace with the planning, especially in those last few weeks leading up to the wedding, when everything was feeling a bit  like time was running out.  They had a magical day at the Castaway, filled with laughs, friends, family, and most importantly, love.  Here are a few of my favorite shots, from the very talented Sarah Chen!

A fun shot of Grace’ shoes.  I’m obsessed with shoes right now, and these fit the bill…….adorably cute and something you can definitely wear again, post-wedding!!

Their “first look” moment, which was taken at the Luau Gardens on the Castaway grounds….which was followed by some really frame-worthy bride and groom portraits.

The gorgeous bride with her bridesmaids and her “Man of Honor,” how cute is that?!   The girls looked beautiful in their Priscilla of Boston dresses, and they fit perfectly into Grace’s yellow and pink color theme.

And of course, a shot of the dapper groom with his groomsbuds and his “Best Woman”.  She even rocked the super cool Nike shoes that he gave out to her and all the guys….while wearing her adorably cute  canary yellow dress!!

The kids took center stage down the aisle….they were so cute, you wanted to eat them!!  Then the blushing bride walked down with her dad…such a touching moment!

While Grace and Sam said their vows to each other, the flowergirl decided her job was not done for the day!

Grace and Sam’s tre-cool grand entrance into the ballroom….the bridal party choreographed this amazing high-five welcome as a surprise!

And I’ll end with a shot of their precious cake and their whimsical centerpieces…….I spy a butterfly (or two, or three!)

Please visit Sarah Chen’s blog for more spectacular pictures of this perfect day!

Sam and Grace:  I adored working with you both, and will miss our meetings and emails tremendously!!  Sam, I will never forget your “I feel like the bride” moment, and Grace, you are one of the most genuinely sweet people I’ve ever encountered.  I have no doubt in my heart that you two have found true happiness and I wish you only the best!!
